Business Development Representative – German

A business development representative (BDR) is in charge of generating new business opportunities for our clients. BDRs are in charge of qualifying leads and prospecting for viable buyers through current company accounts. BDRs perform cold calls, send emails, and lead high-level discovery calls with potential customers on a daily basis. The ultimate goal is to arrange sales meetings that result in genuine sales opportunities. When a meeting is scheduled, the BDR forwards the prospect to an Account Executive (AE). 

It’s essential to note that, while most BDR teams are classified as sales, they don’t close any deals. An AE, not a BDR, is responsible for demonstrating the product, developing a proposal, and sealing the deal. Instead, the BDR team, which is normally overseen by a business development manager, is assessed based on how many meetings they schedule. 

What Is Waiting For You

  • Find the right people to contact in a potential client and follow a strategy to contact them
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and correlating potential business to value
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email speaking about the problem they have
